It was founded by a man in love with the mountains, a climber and an explorer. It was created with climbers in mind, with people for whom mountains are an important, if not the most important, part of life. It's for people with different goals than making money or pursuing a so-called career. It's for people who, considering their passion for mountains, nature, and the outdoors, don't have time or desire for accumulating wealth. It's for people who dedicate their time, some part of their lives, to satisfy their material needs, but prioritize the mountains.
In the store you're browsing, the brand logo or advertisement is not important. What matters is the person in love with the mountains, their comfort, and safety. It's the person who, wanting to engage with the mountains, can choose clothing and accessories from many places, many stores, among a plethora of products and manufacturers, being aware of the importance of quality and lightweight mountain gear.
Big companies and corporations seek their deserved profit for their brand, logo on a shirt, jacket, or pants. In the eyes of some of our customers, this is the main reason for wearing "branded" clothing. It enhances their perceived prestige.
Montano's perspective is different; we offer modern, top-quality materials available worldwide because we understand how important they are in the mountains. We offer our time, our commitment, our attention to creating the best product we can present, not relying on advertising, but on recommendations. Many times we do it at the expense of our passion, dedicating time, personal emotional input, our energy to managing this website and this store. We realize that true mountain people are not wealthy, so the prices you see on the website are among the lowest and yet the best in the mountain apparel market. Therefore, when writing an email, answering the phone, or sending a package, we hope and count on you, the one reading these words, to understand the message of our store. You'll show it by respecting our and your own time, our resources, our commitment, the dedication we put into running it.
With regret, we observe that some treat our store as a fitting room. Orders and subsequent returns of unused products generate additional costs and waste time. Therefore, we propose a meeting (here the reason: coffee, tea, cake, etc.) with your friends who use and wear our products to check what will be good for you, what will suit you, and how you will feel in our products.
When you don't have such an opportunity, we will propose a basic version of the product in the appropriate size you ordered. With us, paraphrasing Henry Ford's words: you can get a product in any color, provided it's black. We have other colors or variants, but these are available for individual order. Also, remember that in the mountains, the oracle is not your understanding, likes on Facebook or Instagram, but your personal decision. Therefore, we ask for thoughtful shopping. If you're looking for a "trendy" jacket to show off on Instagram, this store is not for you.

With us, passion for the mountains counts, not chasing trends.

And for those who cannot read with understanding, or lack the appropriate dose of sarcasm or self-distance, or are looking for their fulfillment not in the mountains but in what we'll call "being trendy and on top," we have prepared the following regulations.

Regulations for "specialists"

 Definitions:

1. "Buyer" is a natural person, legal entity, or entity without legal personality making a purchase in the online store not related to their professional or business activity.
2. “Montano LLC” is the entity operating the online store.

1) Placing orders at Montano LLC:

1. Orders are accepted through the website www.montano.pl
2. Orders in the Montano LLC company can be placed by unregistered persons; however, we encourage registration to take advantage of all the amenities our website offers.
3. Each placed order is checked by Montano LLC, and the buyer receives information about its acceptance or rejection. They will also receive information about the availability or unavailability of the goods.
4. Changes to the order (cancellation, annulment, increase, or decrease in quantity) can be made by email to primo@montano.pl provided that the order has not been sent previously.
5. There is a possibility of placing an order by phone, but such an order will be accepted for execution after email confirmation, which will include: the name of the article, size, individual requirements (e.g., changes in size, color, additional elements), and shipping address, email, and phone contact.
6. The maximum order processing time is 8 weeks from the date of placing the order.

2) Methods of fulfillment:

Orders are processed in two ways:

1. Payment to the account.
2. Cash on delivery. Products are sent promptly upon receipt of the order, and the due amount along with shipping costs is collected from the buyer upon receipt of the shipment.

Deliveries are made by courier and InPost parcel lockers.

3) Order processing time:

The order processing time (preparation and packaging of the shipment) is the time from receiving the order (or receiving the payment) to handing over the shipment to the courier or parcel locker.

Order processing begins:

1. a) in the case of orders paid before receipt - after receiving the payment into the account;
2. b) in the case of orders paid upon receipt - after receiving the order by the company.

The order processing time for products available in stock is 3 business days; in the case of products currently unavailable in stock, the deadline may be extended; detailed information will be provided by a Montano LLC representative. The processing time for custom order products is determined individually for each order.

4) Shipment receipt time = order processing time + delivery time

5) Delivery time:

Delivery time is the time from dispatch and handing over the packaged shipment to the carrier to the moment of its receipt by the customer. Montano LLC has no influence on the delivery time.

The delivery of goods takes place in the manner chosen by the buyer and specified in the order.

6) International delivery:

International shipments are sent only after settling the order and shipping costs.
The delivery and cost of international shipping should be arranged individually before the order is processed.

7) Discounts and promotions:

Special offers, novelties, price discounts, etc., can be received by email by registering in the store.

8) Prices and assortment:

1. The prices listed on the website are the amounts to be paid.
2. Photos in colors other than black are for illustrative purposes only.
3. The availability of a product at the Montano LLC pickup point does not necessarily mean that the goods are in stock. Unfortunately, discrepancies may occur, so the order will be considered accepted only after receiving confirmation from the store that the order is accepted for processing.
4. It is possible to place individual orders. They concern changes to the size chart proposed by us or the color of the materials used. In these cases, please indicate the requested modifications in the comments when placing the order.

9) Complaints and returns:

1. Standard, offered goods can be returned within 14 days from the receipt of the shipment, in which case the payment will be transferred to the specified bank account. Goods made to individual orders* and discounted items are not subject to return.
2. The exchange of goods is carried out within 14 days from the receipt of the shipment. In the case of exchanging goods, the customer is obliged to deliver the exchanged product at their own expense, while the cost of shipping the new goods is covered by Montano LLC.

* - these are things marked as to identity.

10) In the case of returning the entire order, a handling fee may be added in the amount of USD $25 to USD $65.

12) The right of withdrawal from a distance contract does not apply to the consumer in situations specified in art. 10 para. 3, unless this right has been granted to the consumer in the contract.
