Backpack Extreme 35

The Extreme 35 climbing backpack is designed with rock climbing, mountaineering, ski touring, and glacier expeditions in mind. It embodies the essence of simplicity, durability, and functionality, created based on years of experience and feedback from climbers.

Materials and Construction
The backpack is made from Cordura RipStop, a material known for its high water resistance and durability. RipStop is a lightweight fabric with a grid-like texture, reinforced by thicker threads woven at regular intervals. Cordura also features a fluorocarbon finish, providing additional protection against water, oil, and dirt. Furthermore, a laminated coating creates a double dispersion layer, enhancing the material's resistance to damage.

Practicality and Functionality
The backpack is ideal for single and multi-day climbs, both in summer and winter. Designed without a typical top flap, it reduces weight and is equipped with a roll-top closure secured with Velcro and YKK buckles. It also has an external pocket for small items. The carrying system and the backpack's volume are fully adjustable, and the removable back panel allows for additional weight reduction. The sleeping pad, which serves as the stiffening element, is perfect for seated bivouacs.

Ergonomics and Comfort
The backpack's bottom is angled at approximately 30 degrees relative to the back, ensuring better balance during climbing. It features an adjustable chest strap for greater stability and anatomically shaped shoulder straps for increased comfort. The hip belt, minimized to the necessary minimum, helps distribute the weight evenly. Thumb loops at the top of the shoulder straps provide relief for the arms and can also be used as gear loops. Stabilizing straps on the upper part of the shoulder straps help when carrying a heavily loaded backpack.
