Backpack Torre 20

The Montano Torre 20 climbing backpack is designed for climbing, mountaineering, ski touring, and glacier expeditions. It's created to be lightweight, waterproof, functional, and durable.

Developed over the years, with climbers providing feedback on prototypes, this backpack is now presented to you - designed by climbers, for climbers.

Ideal for single-day climbs in both summer and winter, it's made from highly waterproof Cordura RipStop material. RipStop is a lightweight and durable fabric characterized by a distinctive checkered pattern. This pattern is created by weaving thicker threads at regular intervals into a plain weave, enhancing the fabric's structure.

The Cordura used has a special fluorocarbon finish for waterproofing, oil resistance, and dirt resistance. Additionally, a laminated coating is applied, creating a double dispersing layer to reinforce the material's durability.

The backpack opens fully for convenient access to the interior, featuring a YKK zipper with a unique structure to prevent accidental openings. Loops and Velcro allow for securing ice axes.

There are two adjustable side straps with YKK buckles for external attachment of ropes or additional gear. It includes one internal pocket for small items and two mesh side pockets for extra storage.

To further reduce the backpack's weight, a removable foam insert at the back can double as a seat pad for sitting on snow. Ventilation systems on the back have been omitted to minimize weight.

The backpack features an adjustable chest strap for stability, anatomically profiled shoulder straps for comfort during climbs, and a minimized hip belt that evenly distributes weight.
